This morning started bright and early at 5:00 AM.
Yep, I was up with the sun—lipgloss on, water bottle filled, and sneakers in hand.
I was extra motivated today because last night I fell down a rabbit hole of glute workout videos and articles. You know when you’re researching something and suddenly you *need* to act on it immediately?
That was me with my glutes. I’ve always had a fabulous butt—*always*. But after these last two babies, gravity and life had other plans. My once-round booty just… dropped. It’s honestly so sad.
These days, my lower stomach is poking out more than my behind, and that’s just not the vibe I’m going for.

I read somewhere that building muscle gets harder as we get older, so I’m putting in the work *now* to keep these glutes elevated and strong. My goal? A classic bubble butt.
Funny enough, I didn’t even do the workout I had originally planned. I completely switched it up once I got there (story of my gym life), but it still turned out to be a really solid session. I’ve been watching a lot of TikTok fitness content, and one thing that keeps popping up is lifting *heavier* weights with fewer reps. So today, that’s exactly what I focused on.
One machine I *never* skip is the hip abductor. It’s my tried-and-true—seriously, it’s never let me down.

I’ve started increasing the weight on it, and my glutes are definitely feeling the burn.
Oh—and here’s a fun little discovery: after over five years at the same gym, I just realized that the hip abductor machine has a cup holder.

Like, what?! I’ve been awkwardly placing my water bottle on the floor this entire time!
I’m more determined than ever to grow my glutes and tighten my waist. It’s not just about aesthetics—it’s about feeling strong, confident, and like *me* again. So here’s to early mornings, heavier lifts, and glute goals.
Let’s keep our hopes high and our squats low!!
Have you ever switched up your gym plan last-minute but still had a great workout? Or discovered something obvious in your gym after *years* of being there?
