Hey everyone !
It’s been a minute since I last posted, but I’m finally sitting down to give a much-needed update. Life has been busy, but one thing I’ve stayed consistent with is showing up for my workouts. And honestly? I’m really proud of myself.
Even though I’ve been a longtime gymgoer, I recently realized I had been staying inside my comfort zone. For a while, I stuck to runs and Pilates videos on YouTube — which helped me stay active, but I wasn’t seeing the physical results I wanted. I needed a change. I needed to level up.
So I started locking in at the gym, showing up every single day with more purpose. I’ve been focusing mainly on weight training, especially glutes, legs, and core. I began lifting heavier, pushing myself harder, and most importantly — I started experimenting with new moves. I’ve been finding exercises on Facebook and TikTok, saving the ones that look challenging (but doable!), and trying my best to replicate them at the gym. It’s made working out fun again, and it’s been so motivating to feel my strength building with each session.
There are days I leave the gym soaked in sweat and completely wiped — but in the best way possible. It’s the kind of exhaustion that reminds me I showed up, pushed through, and didn’t cut corners. And that kind of consistency is starting to pay off. My body has become leaner, tighter, and more toned. I feel stronger — not just physically, but mentally too.

One of the biggest changes? My body wants this now. I’ve been waking up naturally at 4:30 a.m., even before my alarm. It’s like I’ve trained my body to be ready for movement. It’s wild, but also super rewarding. I used to think discipline was just forcing yourself to do something — now I see it as a gift you give yourself.
Next up on my journey is my nutrition. I haven’t really paid attention to what I eat — not yet, anyway — but I know dialing that in is the next step. I’m curious to see what kind of shape I’ll be in once I pair clean eating with the consistency I’ve already built.
This isn’t just a fitness update — it’s a reminder that growth lives right outside your comfort zone. I’ve been going to the gym for years, but it wasn’t until I started trying new things, lifting heavier, and challenging myself that I really saw a change.
So wherever you are on your journey, keep going. Stay curious. Stay consistent. You might just surprise yourself.
More soon. But for now — I’m proud of me. 💪🏽
