Progress is Progress!

Last night was a tough one with Zoé.

She kept stirring in her sleep, and I was up constantly to check on her. Eventually, I caved and pulled her into bed with me. I’ve been trying to avoid cosleeping, but I just couldn’t keep getting up all night. Thankfully, my amazing husband stepped up and let me sleep in until 1:30 PM. He handled both babies in the meantime, alternating nursing sessions while I caught up on some much-needed rest.

When I finally got downstairs, I took some time to hang out before heading out for a run.

Running is starting to feel better—I’m not limping as much, though I’m still walking quite a bit during my runs. But the progress is real! It’s not as painful as it was when I first started back, and I’m grateful for every step forward.

Later, I grabbed Zoé and visited my mom. It felt good to get out of the house and enjoy a change of scenery.

On another note, I’m feeling a little more optimistic about my body. I took some candid pics of myself 2 weeks postpartum, and while there’s still a journey ahead, I’m already noticing some changes.

Staying consistent with running and movement is going to be key, and I’m excited to see where this transformation takes me.

Here’s to small wins and steady progress!
