Weekend recap

Greetings, lovely readers! I wanted to share the intricacies of my weekend, which turned out to be quite the adventure.

The weekend commenced with an academic feat – conquering a challenging psychology exam. As I approach the completion of my second degree, having previously earned one in sociology, each step feels like a significant milestone.

How attending courses have looked like since she’s been born

Post-exam, I decided to infuse some joy into the day by organizing a playdate with a friend at Kids Kingdom, a local jungle gym. The laughter and excitement of our little ones running wild was nice for us as we were able to chat and hang out with our babies.

Not gonna lie, my culinary choices that day weren’t the best, I thought I was in the clear to eat a poutine as a “treat”. Ugh. my stomach paid the price. This incident highlighted the evolving relationship my body has with nutrition, particularly as I transition to cleaner eating habits.

Sunday unfolded with unexpected challenges as my youngest, Justine, woke up with a fever. This shifted my plans, including attending church with Jackson. The day transformed into a laid-back session of watching “Malcolm in the Middle” cuddled up with him – a delightful deviation from the usual hustle and bustle.

The beginning of the week brought the continued presence of Justine’s cold. I wasn’t able to workout as I planned due to her need for closeness.

Poor baby!!

Butttt.. I did manage to sneak in some arm exercises during her nap.

This morning marked a return to my running routine, contributing to an overall sense of well-being

As I reflect on the weekend’s events, I’m struck by the delicate balance between academic pursuits, family dynamics, and personal well-being.

I’m curious to hear about your weekend adventures – feel free to share in the comments below!
