Ditching Sugar: A Daily Quest

Today has been a real test against the sugar urge. Morning started with the usual craving for a pumpkin spice latte from McDonald’s, but I decided to mix things up. Swung by Sobeys for a dairy-free “healthy” latte bottle to whip up my own drinks. A health-conscious move and a money-saving hack in one shot!

Just like Joseph dodging Potiphar’s wife, I steered clear of that sugary mess.
Back home, the struggle persisted. Those Chipits chocolate chips had their own magnetic pull. But, I’m determined to find substitutes for these treats.

In the midst of these challenges, there was a small win – breakfast without the usual brown sugar in my oatmeal. A modest change, but a start on the path to healthier choices.

By day’s end, feeling tired but keeping the hustle going. No daytime snoozing means a shot at an early night’s sleep.
