Busy Days and Fitness Goals: An Update

Hey everyone! It’s crazy around here, but things are looking up!

We’ve finally got our house set up enough to really make it feel like home. Now, it’s about relishing and enjoying our space.

The gym has become my second home these days. Working on getting back my strength, I’ve been consistent in hitting those weights. I’m feeling slimmer but I’m aiming for an hourglass shape. Focusing on the glutes and those side legs, because I want that curvy figure look.

I am so grateful to be where I am now!

At the same time, life’s a balancing act, juggling household management with the increasing activity of my little one, Justine. The benefit? The added muscle strength makes it way easier to carry her around while handling chores. It’s a win-win situation!

Now, here’s something exciting: I’ve decided to challenge myself by signing up for a half marathon in February. It’s an event hosted by Somersault events called “The Winterman“. I used to run them before, took a break when Jackson was a baby, but now I’m diving right back in. I’m hitting the pavement every other day, but that brings up a bit of a conundrum—how to eat properly to keep up with all these calories I’m burning.

Sorry for going MIA for a while, but I’m back and ready to post regularly again. Stay tuned for more updates and the adventures that come with them!
