Finally Back Home!

It’s time for a much-needed update on my post-baby fitness journey!

So, since moving back home, I’ve finally gotten my workout mojo back. But you know what’s funny? The pressure to lose all the baby weight has kinda eased up. Maybe it’s ’cause I’m almost back to my pre-pregnancy weight.

Basically back to my regular clothes. Don’t mind the mess….


Or maybe it’s just the summer vibes making me feel extra good in my skin. This summer, I’ve been rocking lots of pretty summer dresses so I’ve been strutting like a confident mama!

So…that pesky “mom pouch” that won’t budge. I suspect it’s the dreaded diastasis recti, a fancy term for ab muscles on vacation. But, no worries! I’ve got big plans to give that pouch a proper workout in the coming weeks.

I’m not gonna lie, chocolate and sugar are my secret lovers. Especially Junior Mints!! Seriously, I can’t resist their sweet charms.


But I’m cutting myself some slack for now. I’ve decided to give in to those cravings for one more week, and then it’s back to my healthy routine. Sayonara, sugar highs!

This morning, I was this close to sleeping in, but my inner warrior won the battle. I dragged myself out of bed, hastily threw on my running gear, and hit the road. And guess what? My pants were inside out the whole time!

I’m also getting ready for next week’s grand adventure – all the kids are coming back from their other parents’ houses. Chaos, here we come!
