So, here’s the lowdown: while my hubby has been channeling his inner Hulk with all the heavy lifting, I’ve been on round-the-clock baby duty. Let me tell you, it’s a workout that puts my muscles to shame!
Lately, I’ve been hitting a minor speed bump when it comes to my usual early morning routine. My alarm goes off bright and early at the crack of dawn, but actually getting my sleepy self out of bed? Let’s just say it’s been a bit of a struggle. So, on Friday, I decided to compromise and only did half of my usual workout. Hey, progress is progress!
But I did make a triumphant comeback yesterday, hitting the weights like a boss and working up a good ol’ sweat. But today? Oh, today was a different story. I decided to fully embrace the concept of a “day off” and boy, did I indulge in some seriously delicious treats. It was a full-blown “cheat day” extravaganza, and I have zero regrets!

But here’s the kicker, amidst the sweet indulgences and a slight detour from my regular routine, I had a bit of an epiphany. Brace yourselves—it turns out I actually feel better when I work out every single day! Who would’ve thunk it? There’s something about getting those endorphins pumping and starting the day on a high note that just puts a spring in my step. No more slacking off for this gal!
And that got me thinking, peeps. If I can achieve these decent results without sticking to a super clean eating plan, imagine what I could accomplish by bidding farewell to sugar and junk food for a whole month!
