Hey:) I hope you all had an amazing weekend. I wanted to give you a little update on what went down in my world over the past few days.
So, our two girls were with their mom, and my son was with his dad. That meant my husband, our adorable baby, and I had a chance to bond and tackle some tasks around the house. We took advantage of the kid-free zone and got busy taking down their beds and packing up a few rooms in preparation for our upcoming move. We also watched a couple of episodes of Netflix’s “Black Mirror”. What a dark show eh?
Now, let’s get to the juicy stuff – makeup! Lately, I’ve noticed a significant shift in my approach to cosmetics. I’ve been finding myself reaching for fewer products, embracing a more natural look, and, dare I say it, going makeup-free more often than not.
You see, I’ve been taking better care of my skin, and it’s been paying off. I’ve found that I don’t need a full face of foundation to feel confident. Instead, I focus on applying a touch of concealer under my eyes or on any blemishes that need a little extra attention. It’s all about letting my skin breathe and radiate its natural beauty.
You know what has been my secret weapon? Bronzer! This magical product has become my go-to for achieving that healthy, sun-kissed glow. With just a few swipes, it adds a touch of warmth and luminosity to my complexion, giving me that fresh-faced, “just got back from vacation” look.
A little bit of foundation, lots and lots of mascara!

But here’s the real revelation – the less makeup I wear, the more confident I feel. It’s like a newfound freedom, embracing my natural features and celebrating my own unique beauty. Don’t get me wrong, I still love playing around with makeup and experimenting with different looks, but there’s something incredibly empowering about rocking a bare face and feeling absolutely gorgeous.
In fact, I’m taking it a step further on my self-love journey. I’ll be taking down my trusty hair extensions and will try ti embrace the natural growth of my own locks. I’m excited to see how my hair has flourished over time and to fully appreciate its natural beauty. I’d love to be able to rock looks with confidence:)
As for the week ahead, things are about to get intense. The kids will be back with us, and we all know how wonderfully chaotic that can be. But hey, I’m ready to dive back into the hustle and bustle of family life. It’s all part of the adventure, and I’m back on my grind, ready to conquer whatever comes my way.
So, my gorgeous friends, let’s embrace our natural beauty, simplify our routines, and find confidence in our own skin. Let’s rock our au naturel selves with pride and radiate the beauty that shines from within.
Until next time,
Miri
