Welcome to my blog! I’m thrilled to have this platform where I can share my experiences, joys, and challenges as a 35-year-old mother to an 11-week-old newborn. Life has taken an exciting turn for me, and I’m eager to document this incredible journey of motherhood.
First and foremost, let me introduce myself. I’m Miri, a dedicated mom with a heart full of love for my children. Besides my precious newborn, I have an energetic 8-year-old son who keeps me on my toes. I’m also blessed to be married to my wonderful husband, who already has two amazing daughters, aged 15 and 12. Our blended family creates a beautiful tapestry of love, support, and growth.
While motherhood has brought immense happiness into my life, it has also triggered some introspection. As my children grow, I find myself facing the reality of getting older. It’s a bittersweet realization, accompanied by a desire to regain confidence and embrace the changes that come with age gracefully.
One of the challenges I’ve encountered on this journey is the struggle to feel comfortable in my own skin. As a new mom, my body has gone through incredible transformations during pregnancy and childbirth. I’m now contending with the frustration of clothes that no longer fit as they used to, making me feel a little frumpy. However, I refuse to let this dampen my spirit. Instead, I see it as an opportunity for personal growth and self-care.
In my quest to reclaim my pre-pregnancy weight, I’ve embarked on a fitness journey. With a dedicated routine that includes daily running and workouts, I’m striving to shed those extra pounds. It’s been two weeks since I began this endeavor, and while I’m still 10 pounds away from my goal, I’m keeping my spirits high and hoping to see positive changes soon. The road to fitness is as much about physical health as it is about mental well-being, and I’m excited to share my progress and lessons learned along the way.
